Why Jewellery?

In 2015 Ching Sze Yin (Cicy) and Elizabeth Shaw developed and presented a collaborative project involving students, staff and graduates from the Jewellery and Small Objects Department at Queensland College of Art Griffith University Australia and the Jewellery Department at Hong Kong Baptist University Hong Kong.

The exhibition opened in Hong Kong then travelled to Brisbane. At each venue the audience was asked to respond to the question Why Jewellery? At Hong Kong there was a black board supplied for this purpose and in Brisbane there was a clip board.

Why Jewellery?

Why Jewellery? was exhibited at the Webb Gallery QCA Brisbane 16-26 September 2015
These images from the opening were taken by Emma Wright from the QCA Photo Doc Team

Why Jewellery? opened at Koo Ming Kown Exhibition Gallery HKBU Kowloon Hong Kong 23-30 May 2015
